Day1 |
Depart to Beijing

Day2 |
Arrive at Beijng Capital Airport (TBC) and transfer to accommodation next to Tiananmen Square
Tuck in to a welcome banquet in one Beijing’s most traditional restaurants and have a trip briefing

Day3 |
Mandarin lesson (3 hours), learn appropriate vocabulary for the weeks activities, differing ability lessons are available
Learn about Imperial China through a visit to Tiananmen Square – one of the largest city squares in the world - and the Forbidden City – the home of the Emperor
Climb up Jingshan Park for panoramic views of the city.
Take DangDang bus (traditional trolley for sightseeing) back to Qianmen. Free time walking around Qianmen Cultural Street.

Day4 |
Mandarin lesson (3 hours)
A visit to the Temple of Heaven to see wonderful imperial China architecture and join in the activities in Chinese park life
Kungfu and Taichi Lesson in the park (1 hour)

Day5 |
Mandarin lesson (3 hours)
Visit the Summer Palace – a UNESCO world heritage site – explore the grounds and then take a boat across the stunning lake

Day6 |
Mandarin lesson (3 hours)
A tour inside National Museum to learn history of ancient China and revolutionary.
Visit Wangfujing night market to experience the buzz of Chinese markets and try Chinese delicacies

Day7 |
Mandarin lesson (3 hours)
Take a guided tour through one of Beijing’s hutong areas – Beijing’s traditional alleyways, filled with the hustle and bustle of everyday life

Day8 |
A full day tour to Mutianyu Great Wall
The Great Wall at Mutianyu has breath-taking scenery but less tourists, thus a good destination on hot holidays for a Great Wall tour at ease.
Reflect on your experiences and say goodbye to China with a final banquet of Beijing Roast Duck.
